Views from the real world
The Komuna Collective will present an upbeat, innovative, and eclectic programme, centred around the live version of their 40-minute debut album for string quartet and electronics, ‘Views from the Real World’. Composed by Adam Possener, it digests everything from Bach to Beyoncé, Reddit to Minecraft, Critical Psychiatry to personal rejections, and mashes it all together into a maximalist tongue-in-cheek soundworld.
This will be performed alongside newly commissioned works for string quartet and electronics by Andrew Harlan and Zacharias Wolfe, as well as Anna Meredith’s Tuggemo.
